Campaign Profile

In March 2018, China Airlines launched the first nonstop flights between Asia and Ontario, California, operating daily flights to the Los Angeles suburb from Taipei.

The campaign was aimed at publicizing the new route and highlighting Ontario’s food, scenery and attractions to build consumer interest in flying CAL to this new destination.

Campaign Features

Integrated campaign used to publicize news of the new route. Media buys focused on digital ads, complemented by print and magazine ads, outdoor ads in Taipei and Kaohsiung, travel industry briefings around Taiwan and small gifts for passengers on the nonstop flights.
